Q: How do we clean your garbage can?
A: Scrub-A-Can will come to your home and clean your garbage can on the same day your garbage is picked up or the following day if your pickup is usually after 3pm. If this is the case, please let us know when you order service. For your added convenience, we will also return it to your garage, side of house or any where we can reasonably have access without having to walk into an enclosure.
Q: Can I have a one-time cleaning?
A: Yes We offer several service plans to fit your budget. The service plans we provide allow us to keep our prices low. Because the first cleaning of your garbage can will take substantially longer then the remainder of cleanings in your plan. Our “One-Time” cleaning charge is 19.99 per can.
Q: Do I have to pre-pay for my service plan?
A: Yes. You must pre-pay for the service plan you select in advance. You can pay by check either by mail or at the time of service after you have submitted your order form. You may also pay by credit card using our convenient secure add to cart button. After you have submitted your credit card order you will receive a receipt at the email address you provide. The payment will show as hookitup on your statement. This is our parent company.
Q: Do I have to sign up for service on all my garbage cans?
A: No. You tell us which garbage cans you want on your service plan.
Q: Can I alternate or rotate other garbage cans during my service plan?
A: No. In order to keep our prices low, we cannot offer this option.
Q: After I sign up for your service, when will my service begin?
A: Once we receive your request for service, we will contact you within 24-48 hours with details.
Q: What if my Home Owners Association will not allow my garbage can to be left on the curb after pickup?
A: There are two options for this:
1. You can return your garbage can to your home after it has been emptied, and as long as it is easily accessible without having to go into an enclosed area, we will bring it to the curb for cleaning and return after we are done.
2. Or you could give us the name and number to your HOA and we will contact them to see if they can make an exception to this rule on the days we are scheduled to clean. Especially since we always return them to your house fresh and clean when we are finished anyway.

Q: What
happens if I move to an area that is not currently serviced by
Scrub-A- Can?
A: Well hopefully you
will be moving to one of our many areas we currently service.
But if this is not the case, of course we will provide you with
a pro-rated refund of the service you have left. Or you may gift
it to someone. Hopefully we will see you again soon though.
Q: What if I miss the day
my service is scheduled due to your mistake?
A: Of course we would
reschedule to have your garbage can scrubbed at our earliest
availability. If this is not possible, we will credit your
service by adding an additional month to your service plan.
Q: Will you reschedule my
service if I miss my day due to my mistake?
A: We will do whatever we
can to reschedule your service if at all possible. But as we
grow and have less time to deviate from our schedule, this may
not be possible.
Q: What if I am away from
home and unable to have my garbage cans at the curb?
A. If your garbage can is
empty and you advise us at least 48 hours before your day of
service, we will still clean your garbage can and return it to
your house when we are done. Providing your garbage is easily
accessible and there is no trash inside.
Q: What if you have to
come the day after my garbage pick-up day and there is trash in
my can?
A: If there is trash in
your can, we will still clean it. We only ask that you please
have this trash in tied bags so we can remove it while cleaning
and return it easily when done.
Q: How will I know when
my cans have been cleaned?
A: Well, first of all
your smelly trashcan will smell fresh, which will be a nice
change. But also, it will be returned to your house for you. And
the tag we place on your can will be punched each month we come.
